Heartopia Main Story Walkthrough — Complete Astralis Quest Chain

Full Heartopia walkthrough for the Astralis quest chain: Forest (Oak-Oak), Fishing Village (Bill), Flower Field (Vernie), and Onsen Mountain (Eric). All steps with maps and tips.

The Astralis quest chain is Heartopia’s main storyline. You’ll explore four regions, meet key NPCs, and unlock daily rare resource farming. This walkthrough covers every step from triggering the quest to the final reward.

Prerequisites

Before the Astralis chain begins, you need:

Once at DG Level 6, check your mailbox — a mysterious anonymous letter arrives, kicking off the entire Astralis storyline.

Part 1: Astralis in Forest

Area: Northeastern Forest
Key NPCs: Andrew → Patti → Cassie → Oak-Oak
Reward: 3x Roaming Oak Timber + daily Oak-Oak access

Walkthrough

  1. Meet Andrew at the quest marker in the northeastern Forest area. He explains Astralis — the mysterious force that brought you to Heartopia.

  2. Find Patti (forest ranger). She asks you to take a photo of the forest. Climb the observation deck stairs, open your camera, and snap the photo.

  3. Talk to the Bird Lover — give her some Timber (common wood from any tree).

  4. Talk to the Backpacker — give him Branches in exchange for clues about Cassie’s location.

  5. Find Cassie at the Jump Puzzle area deep in the Forest. She’s on a suspended bridge in the trees.

  6. Cassie’s Challenges:

    • Find hidden “bubbles” (interactive sparkles) around the Forest
    • The second bubble is higher up — hold the jump button longer to reach it
    • Complete the jump puzzle for a gift

  7. Cassie’s Riddle to find Oak-Oak:

    “Cross the lonely bridge, step into the forest’s heart. Between two teardrops’ gleam, my energetic friend is trapped in hardship.”

  8. Solve the riddle: Cross the same bridge you used to reach Cassie. Look for a clearing between two glistening ponds. You’ll find Oak-Oak — a sentient ancient tree trapped in its own overgrown roots.

  9. Free Oak-Oak: Equip your Pickaxe/Axe and strike the tangled roots until they break. Oak-Oak shakes free and drops your first 3x Roaming Oak Timber.

  10. Return to Cassie — quest complete!

Post-Quest: Daily Oak-Oak Farming

  • Oak-Oak spawns once per day (resets with server daily reset)
  • Yields 3 Roaming Oak Timber per interaction
  • Spawns randomly in wild areas (Forest edges, mountains, player house gardens — never in the main city)
  • Use your vehicle to do a lap of the map — check residential lots and tree-adjacent areas
  • Missed days do NOT roll over

Part 2: Astralis in Fishing Village

Area: Fishing Village
Key NPCs: Martin → Bill
Reward: Quest completion, progress toward Sea Fishing Event

Walkthrough

  1. Talk to Martin in the Fishing Village. He directs you to speak with Bill.

  2. Bill’s Task: Find two materials:

    • Quality Timber — chop trees with your axe. Palm trees on beaches and thick trees in the Forest are best sources.
    • Ore — break pointy rock formations using your Pickaxe. Look near the Fishing Village area.

  3. Return to Bill with both materials — quest complete!

The ore rocks are usually near the Fishing Village, so you won’t need to travel far. This is the shortest of the four Astralis quests.

Part 3: Astralis in Flower Field

Area: Flower Fields
Key NPCs: Vernie → Passionate Girl → Teenage Boy
Reward: Quest completion

Walkthrough

  1. Meet Vernie in the Flower Fields. She asks you to find two teenagers.

  2. Find the Passionate Girl first:

    • Make sure you have an instrument in your backpack
    • Hold the instrument and play any random tune for her
    • She’ll be satisfied

  3. Find the Teenage Boy:

    • Same process — equip your instrument and play any tune for him

  4. Return to Vernie — quest complete!

You don’t need to play a specific tune. Any random performance works for both teenagers.

Bonus: Flower Field Resources

  • Button Mushrooms spawn here — look next to bushes and fences
  • Great area for foraging common mushrooms to complete Resident Requests

Part 4: Astralis in Onsen Mountain

Area: Adventure Park, Onsen Mountain
Key NPC: Eric
Reward: Recorder + daily Flawless Fluorite access

Walkthrough

  1. Go to the Adventure Park on Onsen Mountain and find Eric (former theme park manager restoring the mountain).

  2. Eric’s Request: He needs Flawless Fluorite — a rare mineral. He hints to head west up the mountains.

  3. Follow the mountain path. Along the way, look for:

    • Capybara Statues (landmarks)
    • Ancient Cave Paintings
    • Energy restoration bubbles — jump to collect these for a stamina boost

  4. Reach the Stonehenge area — a distinct field with massive stone formations.

  5. Find the Flawless Fluorite: In the center of Stonehenge, look for a glowing, moving blue rock emerging from a tan-colored rock formation. It wiggles as you approach.

  6. Mine it: Equip your Pickaxe and hit it three times. After the third strike:

    • The node breaks apart
    • A small mole character with glasses briefly pops out
    • You receive 3x Flawless Fluorite

  7. Return to Eric — he rewards you with a Recorder.

  8. Return to Andrew to report everything you’ve learned — the main quest chain concludes.

Post-Quest: Daily Flawless Fluorite Farming

  • After the quest, Fluorite no longer spawns at Stonehenge
  • It spawns in other players’ front gardens in the Suburban Ringroad area
  • Look for the same glowing blue crystal on tan rocks
  • Capped at 3 pieces per day
  • Check the game’s Discord server for daily shared coordinates (“Daily Fluorite and Roaming Oak” thread)

  5. Unlock Sea Fishing at DG Level 7 → talk to Bill at the docks
  6. Keep leveling DG → Level 12+ unlocks pets, more plots, painting mode, and dreams
